Who is Who?



Joy, heart and soul of Joy's House
Siriporn, Joy's sister, an experienced pediatric nurse and expert in Thai Cooking, who gave up her original career in favor of the Joy's House project. Siriporn had spent two years in Germany , in Berlin and at Lake Constance , where she has gained experiences in Hotel- and Restaurantmanagement.




Yai, Joy's mother, whose family lived from elephant and horse breeding, originally comes from Burma . She worked as a kindergarten teacher for many years.

Sanit, Joy's brother, studied Fine Arts, is the husband of Bim, and is responsible for all maintenance and transportation and attends the guests' artistic interests.





Bim, wife of Sanit, studied Business Administration. She takes care of the office. Her hobby: just smile.

Jampee, Joy's Cousin is in charge of the housekeeping. She likes cooking with our dear guests and prior to that Jampee will take you to the local market. Jampee loves good chocolate and is the most warmhearted person.

 
JeJe, Joy's assiatant is an incharge of the information section. J.J. is a first person you can get Joy's House information by e-mail and help to take care the guests every activities.

Jarm, born in 1983, is one of the extended new family members and somehow an adopted daughter. She studies Tourism Management at Payap University where she is one among the best in her class. Jarm, always cheerful, belongs to the younger generation of successors, who will grow into the management of Joy's House.



Pumpin, born in 1990, Joy's daughter visits the International School in Chiang Mai. She is in command of the art of traditional Thai dance and prepares herself to take over the management of Joy's House in a few years from now alongside with Jarm.

Leon , Joy's daughter is full of energy and a little master in code switching: Northern-Thai, Bangkok-Thai, English or German. She goes to a Primary School in Chiang Mai. If you catch the word's "Are you happy?" Leon will be some were around.

 

Wantanee a member of the Association of Traditional Medicine and masters in traditional Thai massage. Her empire is the little family spa at Joy's House with herbal steambath and various body treatments. Wantanee is living in the neighbourhood and come whenever required by our dear guests.

Dha, Joy's father, who especially liked to sit outside in a lounger and read the paper, and enjoyed building cupboards. He was a teacher at the Technical College in Chiang Mai and educated master carpenters. He died in November 2000. His spiritual heritage and his love will be with us
